Terms & Conditions

Any losses or damage caused to equipment belonging to Picnic in the Ville LLC by the actions of an individual or group, will be invoiced to the person or organization booking activities on that person or groups behalf or charged a damage fee that is not to exceed more than $250 depending on what was taken or damage during scheduled picnic.  All courses delivered by Picnic in the Ville LLC take place in areas that are not without inherent risk. We make every effort to minimize risks to our clients. Should any risk remain, we will then advise the safest way to proceed. All clients must follow our recommendations. Picnic in the Ville LLC cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal property whilst attending our courses. Personal insurance is recommended to cover such circumstance.

Cancellation Policy 

Bookings are only fully made upon the receipt of payment, booking forms and following our confirmation. English law governs this contract. Picnics are reserved by Picnic in the Ville LLC upon receipt of a completed booking form. This will be confirmed via email. Once a completed booking form has been accepted in writing by Picnic in the Ville LLC all the persons named on the booking form (“the client(s)”) will have entered a binding contract on the basis of these terms & conditions. All cancellations must be made in writing rather via email at picnicintheville@gmail.com or send a text message to 615-200-0847. Full payment is expected at ten (10) days prior of scheduled picnic. If full payment is not received within ten (10) days of scheduled picnic- Picnic in the Ville will auto cancelled and no refunds will be processed.

 

If the forecast predicts a chance of rain the day of the event, then we provide an opportunity to set up in the comfort of your home (Davidson County only) or reschedule the picnic up to a year of original booking.

 

If client refuses to choose the two options mention above- the client is only subject to the following cancellations charges only if FULL payment is received.

  • Cancellation more than 30 days from the schedule date will receive a refund of 100% (minus merchant processing fees)

  • Less than or equal to 29 days from the the schedule date will received a refund (minus merchant processing fee plus non-refundable fee of $75

A postponement will be treated as a cancellation and a re-booking. We reserve the right to either cancel outright or remove individuals from any picnic at any time due to inappropriate behavior, suspicion of participants being under heavy influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and unruly behavior on Nashville Metro Public Parks & Recreations property. We also reserve the right to cancel a scheduled picnic or remove a client due to incapacity or inability to attend the picnic. In such circumstances the client will not be entitled to a refund. We will not be liable for any losses resulting from this decision. If necessary, the client will be billed for any costs incurred. The decision to remove any participant from a picnic rests with Picnic in the Ville LLC or any safety personale.
